Journey of Life Information Day on Thursday 22 March 2018.

Dear parent/carer,
You are warmly invited to attend Brent Parent Carer Forum's* Journey of Life Information
Day on Thursday 22 March 2018.
This is a free event for parents and carers with a child or young person with special
educational needs and disabilities (SEND), which has been organised by us in partnership
with Brent Council and Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (health).
It is being held at The Learning Zone at Wembley Stadium from 10am to 6pm.
The aim of the day is to give families of children and young people with SEND, information
about local services, from the point of diagnosis right through to adulthood. We hope it will
help them to become better informed and able to access the right services and support in a
timely fashion.
You will be able to meet service providers from many areas including:
 Health
 Social care
 Early years
 Leisure
 Education
 Transition
 Voluntary organisations that support SEND

Please drop in from 10am to 6pm and chat to providers and other parents. For details of how
to get to The Learning Zone visit (need to get a short URL from the Learning Zone).
If you have questions, or would like more information about the day itself, please telephone
Brent Parent Carer Forum on 07305 145167 or email bpcfadmin@wspld.org
We looking forward to seeing you,
Sharon Brown and Susan Watson,
