DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR PARENTS AND CARERS IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
Become a SEND Parent Champion and or Parent Rep
We are working together with Brent Local Authority, North West London Integrated Care System , Coram and the Voluntary ,Community Sector to support families to be better informed and supported. As we find ourselves in such unpreceded times where peer support from other parents is even more important.
We are looking for parent/carers to act as community connecters and peer supporters.
Are you able to commit to volunteer at least 2 hours a week to meet with other parents virtually and face to face when this is safe to do so? We will provide training and support.
You will provide peer support to parents that have been in the same position as you, to tell them about services for children and young people with SEND.
