This session will give you an understanding of what asthma is, how it is managed, the triggers (which can irritate the lungs) and the use of inhalers and spacers. You will also learn about what to do if a child has an asthma attack and how to support children to enjoy a healthy , fulfilling lifestyle.
Our Senior nurse will be able to answer your questions on asthma and participants will have the opportunity to access a free spacer for their child where appropriate, following the session.
This Workshop will be delivered by Kate and Beth Brent Health Matters Children and Young People Team.
